Born in Lleida in 1982. Coming from a musical and artistical family, Josep studies at Marius Torres High School (Lleida) the Artistic Degree.

He moves in 2001 to Barcelona to study a Degree in Audio and Performance Production at the “Institut Politecnic Sant Ignasi-Sarria”, receiving classes from Joan A. Senante, Lluis Vidal and Jordi Cadena, among others.

At the same time he will have an internship apprentice position in TVE (National Spanish Television) and Lleida TV working in montage, producton and ENG. Further internships include Telecinco (Atlas), working as a cine camera man and second producer for he News.

In 2002 directs the musical video “Ariadna” for the musical group”Boxets”.

In 2003 he starts his Bachelor’s Degree at the “Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC)”, from the Barcelona University, working with Tomas Pladevall, J.A. Bayona and Enric Folch, and specializing as a Photography Director. Being there, he directed the short films “Noche tras Noche” and “Passos” (“Base Film Festival” finalist) and photographes more than a dozen of short films in 16mm and 35mm.

At the same time he will start working as video projectionist and montage editor at the TVEin Sant Cugat, working in shows like “Los Lunis”, “Saber y Gabar”, “Linia 900”, “l’Informatiu”, “Catalunya Avui”, “Telediario”, “corazon Corazon”, “Pasarela Gaudi”, “Redes”, “Mira quien Baila”... He also works at the sports retransmissions as a “Slow Motion” projectionist, EVS, Doremi and Continuity Projectionist at TV1, TV2 and the “Teledeporte” channel. Working a TVE, he studies athe National Radio Television Institute (IORTVE) classes of Betamax IMX, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Avid Symphony and Adrenaline.

In 2006 he starts working for the Producers “El terrat” in their “Ticket” show (La Sexta Channel) as a second producer.

After that he starts working for Gestmusic Endemol for the show “Operacion Triunfo” (American Idol) for Telecinco,being the producer of irs section “La Academia”. He also participates on the recording of TV Ad Promotions for “Nestle” and “Yoigo”.

In 2007 he directs an Ad for the “Torre Roja” High School in Viladecans.

Since the 2007 Fall he studies a Bachelor Degree at the Barcelona University, majoring in Advertisement and Public Relations (ESRP) working at the same time in the TVE news and “La Misa” and “Plato Obert” shows.
